How often should glass shower enclosures be replaced

Well-maintained shower doors from Glass Doctor can last 20-30 years! Cracks, leaks or difficulty opening are some signs that a replacement is needed.

Do glass shower enclosures increase home value?

Yes! Your home value will increase by making the bathroom appear more modern, spacious and easier to maintain. Your average return on investment for a shower enclosure ranges 50-60%!

What is the typical lead time from start to finish?

After you fill out our questionnaire, we will be able to provide a quote for your customer shower enclosure within 1-2 business days. Once approved, a Glass Specialist will come visit to measure the opening and ensure your design will work for your opening within 2 business days. Once ordered, the lead time is approximately 3-4 weeks. The entire process can be completed in 4-5 weeks!

What does the upgraded ShowerGuard coating do?

ShowerGuard is a coating applied to your glass prior to the tempering process. It is baked into the glass and helps close the pores in the glass to make the surface easier to clean and make it more water and oil repellent. The less water and oil that sticks to the surface, the less they can deposit their contents - such as hard water stains and soap scum. ShowerGuard offers and extended warranty, should you need to replace the glass!

Will my shower leak after installation?

Frameless shower doors will have some water that escapes from the enclosure when the door is closed
